With the emergence of Covid, and an uncertain horizon lying ahead for music making, Claremont Ensemble was created by Becky Gould to keep music live, and to find opportunities for musicians and audiences to step forward together. Becky literally stumbled across their first stage whilst walking her dog around Wirral’s historic Claremont Farm, where she was awarded an opportunity for outdoor events in their newly constructed garden terrace.

Claremont Ensemble has grown into a collection of musicians from the North West with extensive backgrounds in chamber and orchestral backgrounds, well-being practitioners, arrangers and composers, committed to making music accessible for all in any setting.

Keen to turn standard styles and delivery on its head, Claremont Ensemble re-imagines and re-arranges familiar music, delivering both classics and new music with sensitivity to each setting and audience alike. We hope you enjoy tonight’s journey, our hope is to transform you to a familiar land, but with slightly different eyes!
