Concert Report: October 2011
Our September concert featured Paul Edmund-Davies, Principal Flute of the London Symphony Orchestra for 20 years, and the London Symphony Orchestra's principal keyboardist, John Alley.
The programme included:
- G. Rabboni - Sonatas Nos. 20, 13 and 16
- G. Fauré – Fantaisie
- A. Scott – Fujiko
- A. Ridout – The Emperor and the Bird of Paradise (flute and narrator)
- H. Dutilleux – Sonatine
We also enjoyed performances in a Spotlight Concert by local flutists, and an art exhibition by Matthew D Morgan.
